A hardy perennial that is best planted in containers or contained areas of the garden due to it's spreading habit.
Sun/Soil
Will tolerate most conditions, but prefers well-drained soil with full sun. Can grow up to a mature height & width of 12-24 inches in ideal growing conditions!
Culinary Uses
Mints of all types combine well with so many dishes. From fish, to potatoes, to tomatoes, cucumbers and salad greens and yogurt sauces. Also delicious as hot tea, iced drinks, dessert toppings (chopped finely), chopped into chocolate desserts (chocolate mint brownies), blended with honey,and more.
Medicinal Uses
Mint has a long history of being used to calm the stomach, for motion sickness and indigestion. It makes a great after-dinner tea to settle the stomach. Mint also aids with calming anxiety and promotes restful sleep. A most wonderful and delicious tea to drink every day.
