What students are saying about this course:
  • "Just wanted to mention the presentation of the first lesson is beautiful and even more detailed than I expected. No doubt you put a lot of time into it’s creation. It’s going to make a beautiful resource. Thank you!"
  • "Both my daughter and I LOVED this course. I have been missing Karin's workshops and this was the next best thing. We’ve learned so much and can’t wait for the next one!"
  • "You did a beautiful job. The build up from knowing this was planned out a full year ahead with the photos likely, and all of the “this works because I tried it” is priceless. I loved knowing these were all tried and true, so I don’t have to experiment and waste resources. It was exactly what I needed. Clean and simple, but also could grow into more complex things with flexibility or comfort level."
  • "Just wanted to let you know how much I'm enjoying this course. I made the bee balm oxymel. I just happened to harvest the right amount for this recipe from our little meadow here. Funny how things sometimes work out isn't it?  Thanks so much for this course!"
  • "Just wanted to share our excitement - our FIRST wild harvest on a hike today :) wild rosehips!"
  • "We’re absolutely loving your course, we’ve made the elderberry syrup, muffins and jellies. We added rose hips to our syrup."
  • "I just want to say I made the elderberry syrup yesterday and it’s wonderful, made enough that I could take a jar to my parents to use daily for the antiviral benefits !  I really appreciate how we could then use the elderberries in the muffins ... which I just pulled out of the oven and they are delicious ... love it that we can ‘re-use’ the berries : )"
  • "My girls found some swamp rose and identified it as part of the rose family by its thorns and berries!  They were so excited!  We are using your course as part of our homeschooling adventures."
  • "Thanks, Karin.  You did a great job with the class! I really enjoyed doing it with my kiddos this week. We had a great walk and made the cookies (plus we made some rosehip/hibiscus tea) so far and look forward to trying more of the recipes this week. Thanks so much for the time you took to source all the ingredients. It was a huge timesaver and made it feel more do-able."
  • "Thanks for this amazing learning opportunity!"
  • "I’ve been going through the lessons in fits and starts but loved the astragalus chai, stock and cacao recipes – made them a few times this past week."
