Pea Shoots - Dwarf Sugar Snow Peas (in soil)

Ready to plant! Get a head start on peas with this bundle of pea shoots (20+ per container).

Dwarf Grey Sugar snow peas produce the earliest and most dwarf edible pods of all. They are prolific, bushy plants that only grow to 60-75cm (24-30") tall, and don't even require staking. Very attractive sweet pea-like flowers are followed by clusters of flat, fleshy, curved, semi-pointed pods. These are light green and average 6-8cm (2.5-3"), appearing at the tops of the plants for easy picking. This old heirloom variety was listed once as Dwarf Gray Sugar Cabbage Pea, and has been in production since before 1773.

Comes in a compostable pot, hardened off and ready to plant. Grown with organic seed and organic soil.

We are grateful for all those who have saved seeds, tended land, and passed on plant knowledge before us. We live on Treaty 1 territory, traditional territory of the Anishanaabeg, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota, and Dene Peoples, and the National Homeland of the Red River Metis.
As a small act of reparation a portion of our farm proceeds is donated to Indigenous-led food security programs in Manitoba.

For all Farm Store orders you will receive an email with specific pick-up / delivery details.
