Herbs - Catnip (Nepeta cataria)


About:

A perennial plant in the mint family, catnip is a favourite with cats who adore it's scent! The plant can grow up to 3 feet high in direct sunlight.


Sun/Soil

Prefers well-drained soil in full sun, but will tolerate part sun/partial shade.


Culinary Uses

Is sometimes used in cooking. The leaves and tips can be added to sauces, soups and salads.


Medicinal Uses

Traditionally the calming properties of catnip were used for anxiety, insomnia, and stress (as a tea), as well as colds, flus and fevers.


Comes in a compostable pot, hardened off and ready to plant. Grown with organic seed and organic soil.
