About: Blanketflower is a hardy perennial, native to North America, with wide growing zone 3-10. The flowers also readily self-seed. Grows 2-3 feet tall. Beautiful red and gold flowers, that bloom all season. Attractive to pollinators.


Traditionally used as a dye plant. Produces shades of purples, blues, yellow and greens. Great for bundle dying or making a dye bath with mordant.
