Feathers - guinea fowl quill feathers

Set of 12 guinea feathers


These guinea feathers are beautifully "pearled", either black-white or lavender-white. You will receive 12 large guinea feathers, assorted. They can be used to decorate wreaths, made into quill pens, or used in other creative ways.


We raised our free-range guineas from egg/chick to adult. We love our guineas, and even after they stop laying they live out their senior years here as part of our flock. All these feathers are only collected from natural molting or preening, never plucked. Our guineas are an important part of our permaculture approach on our farm, helping with tick and grasshopper control, and patrolling the yard.

We are grateful for all those who have saved seeds, tended land, and passed on plant knowledge before us. We live on Treaty 1 territory, traditional territory of the Anishanaabeg, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota, and Dene Peoples, and the National Homeland of the Red River Metis. 
As a small act of reparation a portion of our farm proceeds is donated to Indigenous-led food security programs in Manitoba.
