Herbs - Stevia


About: Stevia is an annual plant in zone 3, grown in containers or the ground. It grows to about 12-36 inches tall and like basil, will continue to produce leaves and become bushier if leaves are regularly pinched back. Stevia leaves are 50+ times sweeter than sugar, and are used as a natural sweetener in baking or teas. Leaves can be used fresh or dried.


Listing is for one seedling, hardened off and ready to plant into your garden.

We are grateful for all those who have saved seeds, tended land, and passed on plant knowledge before us. We live on Treaty 1 territory, traditional territory of the Anishanaabeg, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota, and Dene Peoples, and the National Homeland of the Red River Metis. 
As a small act of reparation a portion of our farm proceeds is donated to Indigenous-led food security programs in Manitoba.
