About: An extremely rare heirloom bean, that is also known as Skunk Bean or Chester Bean. A Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) pole bean variety, growing to 3-4 metres tall so plants need something to climb on. A good bean for shorter growing seasons. Flat lima bean shaped beans, beautifully patterned with black and white (occasionally produce some all black or all white beans). Delicious in soups.
