About: The gorgeous Nigella plant, also known as Love-in-a-Mist, or Wild Fennel, is an easy to grow annual, with beautiful blue flowers and stunning seed pods. Used for cut flower bouquets (both flowers and seed pods are stunning and long lasting), as well as grown as a pollinator-attracting plant. Deadhead flowers regularly to keep plants flowering.
Either start seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost, or plant outdoors 1-2 weeks before last frost date. Or can be direct seeded in late fall. Nigella will also often self-seed.
Organically grown here at Swallowtail Farmstead.
