Medicinal uses:
Blue Vervain has traditionally been used as a medicinal plant, with many benefits including soothing the nervous system, as well as offering anti-inflammatory and analgesic (pain relieving) properties.
Growing tips:
Blue Vervain requires cold stratification to germinate. To do this, place seeds in damp paper towel and seal in ziploc bag. Store bag in freezer for 2-3 months before planting seeds. Start seeds indoors, and transplant out after last frost.
