About: Learn to make your own healing salves at home! This kit includes what you need to get started, including easy to follow instructions for making infused oils and salves at home. Save money by making your own healing salves, and enjoy the folk medicine making tradition.

All ingredients are pre-measured for you. You will also need 4 oz olive oil, basic kitchen equipment, and essential oils (optional).

Your DIY Salve Kit includes:

  • dried organic calendula flowers
  • organic beeswax
  • organic cocoa butter
  • 4 metal tins with lids (4 x 2 oz tins)
  • easy to follow detailed instruction sheet

Calendula has antifungal, antibacterial, antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties. The flowers of this beautiful herb support all manner of skin conditions. Use this salve to soothe dry skin, mild skin rashes, eczema, diaper rash, and minor cuts & scrapes. Optionally, you can add a few drops of pure essential oil to your salve for additional benefits. Lavender essential oil is a wonderful choice as it brings additional antibacterial properties.

We are grateful for all those who have saved seeds, tended land, and passed on plant knowledge before us. We live on Treaty 1 territory, traditional territory of the Anishanaabeg, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota, and Dene Peoples, and the National Homeland of the Red River Metis.
As a small act of reparation a portion of our farm proceeds is donated to Indigenous-led food security programs in Manitoba.

For all Farm Store orders you will receive an email with specific pick-up / delivery details.
