Herbs - Rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis)


About: Rosemary is an ancient plant, used medicinally for centuries to help alleviate muscle pain, improve memory, boost the immune and circulatory system, and promote hair growth. It was often planted near entrance doorways, to promote well-being for those who entered the home. We love to grow our rosemary plants into the fall, taking them indoors and using them as fragrant festive "rosemary trees" for the winter holidays. Rosemary is an annual, but may be overwintered if brought indoors. Water sparingly.


Listing is for one seedling, hardened off and ready to plant in your garden.

We are grateful for all those who have saved seeds, tended land, and passed on plant knowledge before us. We live on Treaty 1 territory, traditional territory of the Anishanaabeg, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota, and Dene Peoples, and the National Homeland of the Red River Metis. 
As a small act of reparation a portion of our farm proceeds is donated to Indigenous-led food security programs in Manitoba.
