we love heirloom garlic

Local Ecologically Grown Heirloom Garlic

We grow thousands of hardneck garlic each year!   We use organic and ecological growing methods, and save our own seed garlic for planting each fall.  Hardneck garlic grows well in our northern climate, stores well into the winter, and has some of the most flavourful varieties.  Hardneck garlic produces a green "scape" (flowering top) which is edible and makes wonderful pesto, ferments, or pickles.

For 2026 we are growing 7 varieties of heirloom garlic including:
  • Music
  • Persian Star
  • Chesnock Red
  • Russian Red
  • Baba Franchuk
  • Spanish Roja
  • Majestic

Garlic Products:
JULY - we have fresh garlic scapes available (wonderful for pesto or pickling).
AUGUST - we have fresh garlic available at our farm stand or farmers market booth.
SEPTEMBER - our garlic is cured, and we have garlic braids & garlic by the pound available.  We also have garlic scape salt, and garlic salt.

You will also find our farmgrown garlic featured in our salsas, pickles, fire cider, sauerkraut, and more!

Cost:
$20/lb for cured garlic
$25/each for garlic braids
We are grateful for all those who have saved seeds, tended land, and passed on plant knowledge before us. We live on Treaty 1 territory, traditional territory of the Anishanaabeg, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota, and Dene Peoples, and the National Homeland of the Red River Metis.
As a small act of reparation a portion of our farm proceeds is donated to Indigenous-led food security programs in Manitoba.

For all Farm Store orders you will receive an email with specific pick-up / delivery details.
